Eagle Creek Edible Garden - Leavenworth, WA

For this project we turned a 1/8th acre grass field into an immediately abundant edible garden full of harvest from spring through fall. We tilled up the grass, sheet mulched the pathways, installed a simple overhead sprinkler, sowed tons of seeds, and applied several rounds of locally concocted compost tea. In addition to the fruits and vegetables grown, there was enough seed produced to start ten more gardens of equal size.
