Palamino Road Plants Surround - Plain, WA

Customer was looking to add some extra plants around the permiter of their house, create a living plant buffer between them and the neighbors, add some pathways leading to outbuildings, reduce the dust on their minimally-used lower driveway, and have a flat outdoor seating area.

We planted 30 native plants, mulched with ground fir chips, installed cedar woodchip pathways, a log-edged terrace, and river rock borders. In October we’ll go back to sow native bunch grass seeds around the rest of the property, which will germinate next spring, creating a mowable grassy meadow requiring no irrigation and greatly reducing the dust. These clients now have a huge increase in pollinators they’ll be attracting to their landscape and they’ll be having a positive impact on the regional water-cycle.
